Established August 25, 2010 NYSATA Region 6 shall establish a professional relationship with the Capital Area Art Supervisors (CAAS). The purpose of this relationship is of mutual benefit to the art teachers and their students in Region 6. Greater opportunities will be available to Region 6 and a larger network is is available to CAAS. As terms of this partnership agreement: NYSATA Region 6 agrees to sponsor student art shows done in collaboration with CAAS. Region 6 will receive the official registration for these shows and will assist with facilitation. Extended sponsorship of activities may be discussed and agreed upon as long as there is a clear benefit shown to Region 6 members and/or their students. CAAS members must also be members of NYSATA. Evidence of NYSATA Region 6 sponsorship must be clearly shown on literature corresponding to sponsored activities. ALL NYSATA Region 6 sponsored activities MUST be published on the CAAS website. Notification of these must be made to the ENTIRE Region 6 so as many as possible will benefit.
