Tiny Math Studio
Many years ago, I gifted a Little Free Library to my wife. She works in the Youth Services Department in our Town Library. So setting up a Little Free Library in our front yard seemed like a good idea.
Our LFL is just an oversized rural mailbox. We keep it stocked with books for all ages. We live in a residential neighborhood with many walkers and bikers. Often times, we will see people stop at the LFL to pick up some reading material.

So in the Spring of 2021, I got the idea to try an make a Little Free Library, but fill it with mathy things. So I created the Tiny Math Studio. I just picked up a vinyl storage bench at the local garden center, built a shelf inside, and attached some containers to hold a variety of games, puzzles, projects, and zines.
I also included a guest book, telling people more about the mission of the Tiny Math Studio.
I want to empower people to be both curious and creative. Mathematics has so many opportunities for people of all ages to do that! Be math people!
I have no idea how this will be received by the community. It could fly, or it could fail. But no matter what, it provides me an opportunity to share my love and passion for mathematics with our neighborhood.
So what can you put in a Tiny Math Studio?
