【African Lullabies】 – ¥500
This was the NCAF's very first publication.
The idea for the book originated during a bus trip with African ladies in 1983, when participants shared and sang lullabies from their respective countries. Inspired by this memorable experience, the songs were recorded, transcribed into musical notation, and compiled into a book.
The lyrics, illustrations, editing, and production were all undertaken by NCAF members. As the first collection of African lullabies published in Japan, the book attracted attention and was featured in various media outlets.
A unique cultural record that preserves and shares the rich musical traditions of Africa.
