The Western Carolina University Concert Choir is an elite group of voices representing undergraduate majors from across the university. Known for their diversity of repertoire including early and world music as well as historical and contemporary styles, recent masterwork performances have included Mozart's Requiem and Mendelssohn's Elijah. The choir tours each spring and has performed in venues across North Carolina as well as at Carnegie Hall and St. Patrick's Cathedral in NYC. In fall semesters, they serve as hosts for the WCU High School Choral Festival, an opportunity for high school singers to visit campus for a day and experience the culture and timbre of a collegiate ensemble.
