• Attended Morris District #54 Schools Kindergarten through Eighth Grade

• Graduated from Morris Community High School in May, 2007

• Attended the University of St. Francis in Joliet, IL and graduated in May, 2011 with Bachelors of Arts in Elementary Education

• Graduated from University of St. Francis in May, 2015 with Masters of Science in Education in Teaching and Learning, Teaching with Technology

• This is my 13th year teaching and I am so excited to be here at Nettle Creek again this year!

• I taught 5th grade for eight years!

• Born and raised in Morris, IL

• Currently live in Oswego, IL with my husband, our 5 year old daughter, 1 year old son, and our dog

• Married to my husband, Matt on December 12, 2015! 

• Hobbies: cooking/baking, traveling, going to concerts, reading, playing with my dog, & DIY crafting

• A few of my favorite things: the color yellow, Chicago White Sox and Blackhawks, sushi, teaching, the beach, sweets, coffee, the Hunger Games series, my dog- Oscar, soaking in the sunshine, learning about history & new technology!
