Good afternoon, Ascent families!
We are excited to share an important update designed to make your experience with our school even smoother! We are implementing enhancements to how we process student fees, focusing on improved tracking, management, and communication. These changes will apply to fees for athletics, co-curricular and extracurricular activities, field trips, and select miscellaneous items, ensuring a more seamless payment process for you. As a reminder, instructional fees for next school year will not be collected until August 2026.
What’s Changing?
We’re transitioning to a more user-friendly system where fees for your student(s) will now appear directly in their PowerSchool account(s). Instead of navigating multiple tiles on our RevTrak storefront, searching for the correct fee, and manually entering amounts, you’ll now be able to:
Access all applicable fees through the PowerSchool browser portal (Note: the PowerSchool app will display your fees but you cannot yet pay through the app).
Easily select the fees you wish to pay, add them to your RevTrak cart, and check out with just a few clicks.
Skip the hassle of browsing or tracking down emailed fee amounts!
To ensure you’re fully equipped to use this new system, we have provided our QR code and Step-by-Step Guide to walk you through the payment process.
What Stays the Same?
Please note that this new process does not apply to:
Event ticket purchases (e.g., dances, plays, or musicals)
School lunch purchases
Yearbook and photo purchases
These will continue to follow their existing payment procedures.
Cash or check payment is still available at the front desk.
