ABOUT ME

Hi! My name is Dawn Ranz and I am thrilled to be your child's AM kindergarten teacher this year. I graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education and a master's degree in Reading. I am so excited for another great school year and feel so blessed to be a part of such a virtuous, high-quality school.

EDUCATION PHILOSOPHY

I believe that education truly needs to be a partnership with parents. To fully develop a virtuous and well-rounded child, there needs to be transparent communication and a trusting partnership where we all work to educate the mind and soul.

ABOUT ME

My name is Larissa Haub and I am delighted to be teaching third grade again this year!  I read avidly, play keyboard on our worship team at church, love to get outside and hike, and enjoy board games and card games, and am hooked on pickleball.  I graduated from Montana State University with a degree in K-8 Education and have had the opportunity to teach kindergarten, third, fifth, and sixth grade.   This is my fourth year teaching at Ascent, and I am thrilled to be working with your students in pursuit of the true, the good, and the beautiful!

I believe that education is incomplete without encouraging students to grow in virtue and character alongside the academic content.  I firmly believe that you are your child's most important teacher, and that it is my role to partner with you in his or her education.
