Dear Parents:

Happy Friday!  Hope you had a good first week.  There's a kestrel sitting on the picnic bench in our courtyard as I write - the kids would love seeing this beautiful creature up close.

We've had a great first few days getting to know the new routine and diving into our curriculum.  In math, we reviewed number lines and rounding.  We did our first science activity today attempting to prove that air has mass.  The students began working on their 'Secret Garden' study guide this afternoon after we finished Chapter 1.  

Coming October 2nd - our Secret Garden Curriculum Wonder Day.  The students can dress as a character from our story set in 1800's England.  Details coming soon...
