ABOUT ME

My name is Tessa McMahon and I am very excited to work with your second graders this year!

I am a Colorado native, and have a degree in International Affairs from CU Boulder. I studied in Seville, Spain, and have taught middle school Spanish and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. I love classical education because it inspires students and teachers to reach for something higher within themselves and it brings out their true potential.

Outside of school, I love reading, cooking and baking, traveling, gardening, and, most importantly, spending time with my husband, children, friends and family.

ABOUT ME

My name is Ms. Ballard, and I will be your student's Teacher Assistant. This will be my third year working with Ascent Classical Academy, and I am so excited to get to spend the year with your student! 

I love playing sports (my favorite sport is basketball), I enjoy reading, and I like being outside. My hope this year is to encourage a fun, restful, and wonder-filled environment for your student to learn and grow in.
