ABOUT ME

My name is Ammanda Lungren and I am thrilled to be your child's third grade teacher this year. I graduated from Southern Utah University with a major in Elementary Education and an endorsement in English as a Second Language. While this is my first year at Ascent Classical Academy, I have taught previously in Colorado, along with 4 other states.  Most recently I was an online tutor working one - on -one with students in Colorado and around the United States.

WHAT I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO

I am really excited to be back in the classroom in my favorite grade: third grade! I look forward to working with your students in a rigorous and virtuous environment.

MEET YOUR TA!

I was born and raised in Moscow, Russia. I graduated from the State University - Higher School of Economics with a Masters degree in marketing. I worked in the world’s largest media agency network for 6 years in Moscow. I met my husband and moved to the U.S. in 2012. We have two beautiful girls, Emma and Audrey, who are the students at Ascent. I love dancing, yoga, paddle boarding, traveling, hiking, cooking, and trying new food and activities.

This is my third year working at Ascent and I am excited about my new role! I am moving up with my adorable second graders and am looking forward to exploring the world of learning with them!
