ABOUT ME

My name is Mrs. Ammanda Lungren and I am thrilled to be your child's third grade teacher this year. I graduated from Southern Utah University with a major in Elementary Education and an endorsement in English as a Second Language. I am excited to say that this is my third year teaching at Ascent Classical Academy of Northern Colorado.  I look forward to working with your students in a rigorous and virtuous environment where we will learn the true, do the good, and love the beautiful! 

WHAT I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO

Third Grade is my favorite grade! We have a lot of wonderful units of study coming up this year, including our literature & science units, as well as multiplication and word problems in math!

MS. BURGESS

Many of you will know our assistant teacher, Ms. Shaila Burgess. Ms. Burgess worked in the front office last year and I am so excited to have her join our classroom community.  She will be helping in many areas and teaching literacy to the class this year. Ms. Burgess loves the outdoors, fly-fishing, camping, photography, and is engaged! She is incredibly excited to work with your children and is eager to learn more about each one of them !
