Homework Expectations:
You should expect that homework will take about 30 mins each night:
20 minutes of reading
5 minutes math fact practice
5 minutes math/other work

Please remember to have your child bring outerwear that is appropriate for the winter weather. We will be going outside for recess every day unless weather is too extreme.
Math Facts Note: The goal of our Rocket Math drills is to practice fluency and be able to recall math information as quickly as possible. This is a skill that is needed not only in 3rd grade math, but math in general. It is strongly encouraged that you and your child practice math facts at home to help build this skill each day.
