5 Minute Visual that allowed children to see that we only had a little bit of time. This was used in conjunction with a traffic light and was a classroom job.
Everyone wants to be a SUPERFRIEND! Pictures were taken and posted on Class Dojo so that parents were able to be part of the celebration too.

I developed an interactive Cozy Corner. The children are shown how to use it during a small group time during the first few days of school.
Sometimes, a student needs more support to calm down. Using teachable moments like this allowed us to strengthen our bond.

This is an example of how I supported a child who was struggling with conflict resolution and managing feelings. Despite a language delay, this student was able to use visuals to get the support he needed and solve the problem.
