Teaching Strategies Gold is used as an assessment tool to document my anecdotal notes. I use the data collected to prepare my lessons and focus areas for each student. I have created a few documentation tools to help not only myself in collecting data but also my paraprofessional as well. These forms allow us to be more focused and intentional in certain activities. Click on the following links to see examples of some of my documentation tools. I use these along with Tools of the Mind Activities to document the students' progress. Click the link to view the document.

Instructional Supports for Diverse Learners
To support students who may need additional assistance during activities such as play planning and small group work, I have developed targeted visual resources. These tools help students follow directions, manage limited choices when broader ones may be overwhelming (e.g., "Wheel of Choices"), and provide structured support for English Language Learners, students with attention or focus challenges, and those with language delays. These supports are intentionally aligned with each child's Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD), offering just the right level of guidance to promote growth. The visuals are gradually faded as students gain independence and internalize routines and expectations.
Having limited options, can help a student make a choice when the wheel has too many to choose from. There are a mix of base layer and theme.
