The goal of the action research plan is to implement a digital notebook/interactive journal. We plan to pilot in a 4th grade class and then incorporate it into all 4th grade classes in the school. We are piloting this in Ms. Simone’s 4th grade/ ICT/ ENL class. The purpose of the digital notebook is to increase inferencing, comprehension, and provide a quick means of assessment. Links / Apps to look into: Hyperdocs.co, Chalkboard Creations, google slides, slides- carnival, google ext. read to write, Jamboard, and videos. Each student has their own digital notebook assigned to each of them where they take notes and complete activities specifically designed to be generic enough to work with any written subject.
