I will be working with the overall school Smart Start team to provide feedback on project work, testing, developing lesson segments to address ELA issues and working to define a related action research project. Observations and walkthroughs revealed a need for teacher collaboration, vertical alignment, and cross-curricular connections. A need was seen especially in the area of social studies, to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
