- If you lose or ruin a book you will be responsible for paying for it. Please do not purchase your own copy to replace it. The library has to use specific vendors for library bound copies.
- Students are allowed to check out 8 books and 3 ebooks/audiobooks at a time. They can have them for three weeks before they need to be renewed during library class or on the Destiny Discover website by clicking the Renew button. Students can check out and read ebooks & audiobooks on the Destiny Discover website. Please see my schedule in the tab above to know when your child's English/Language Arts class attends the library.
- Students can also use the Destiny Discover website to check their accounts to see due dates, ready holds, renew their library books, read ebooks, listen to audiobooks and search the card catalog, research and utilize the district's resources databases. Their log in for Destiny Discover is: Texas for their location, OakRun (all one word) Middle School for their school, then username: lunch/ID number, password: lunch/ID number. They can also log in with their ID number using ClassLink.
- We deliver holds at the beginning of every class in ELA.
- Students can read ebooks ANY TIME, even over the summer on their personal devices by logging into the Destiny Discover website.

Sora ebooks and audiobooks: can be viewed by logging into the Sora app (choose New Braunfels ISD and log in with school Google account). You can also view the Sora ebooks and audiobooks in Destiny Discover. Clicking on them will take the student to the Sora app. Students can add their NBPL card as well and access the complete catalog, but please do that with caution.

TexQuest is a website our district pays for that students can use for research. For the password, have them go to the ORMS Library Canvas course, scroll until they see the TexQuest logo and there is the password.

Box Tops are digital now! Download the Box Tops app and register with OakRun Middle School. After you get a receipt from the store simply scan it into the app by taking a picture of the receipt and the points will automatically be awarded to our school.

If you do curbside, simply forward your emailed receipt to receipts@boxtops4education.com and the points will go to us within a few business days!
