Welcome to ORMS Library! My name is Amanda Hunt, Library Media Specialist at Oak Run Middle School. This is my 18th year in education, 8th at ORMS. I was an elementary librarian for five years, four of those in NBISD before moving up to secondary. Look below for some of my credentials, badges and certifications. I am also the ORMS SPIRIT Committee Co-Chair, the Secondary Gifted and Talented Facilitator and the Secondary Lead Librarian for NBISD.​

I grew up in New Braunfels, attending most schools in the district. My parents were both teachers in NBISD so I have had a love for this district and town since I was little. I absolutely love being the library media specialist at Oak Run Middle School and can't wait for an awesome year!
