School Fundraising Bake Sale
The Year 5 and 6 students at New Brigthon Catholic School held a bake sale to raise money for new sports equipment. They baked 24 trays of lamingtons, with each tray containing 32 lamingtons. All the lamingtons were then packaged equally into 8 large boxes to be sold at the local market.

Kapa Haka Uniforms
New Brighton Catholic School is ordering new kapa haka uniforms for their performance group. There are 18 students in the group, and each uniform costs $45. The total cost of the uniforms will be paid for by a grant. The school librarian, Matua Rewi, decided to store the new uniform pieces on 6 shelves in the performing arts room, making sure each shelf had the same number of pieces.
