With the release of macOS Tahoe, this will be the final version to support all Intel Macs. After the macOS Tahoe update, in order to keep up with the latest macOS updates, it is advised that users upgrade devices to newer Apple Silicon machines.
The following Intel Macs will be unsupported in Late 2026 upon the release of the next macOS:
- Late 2019 16" MacBook Pro
- Early 2020 13" MacBook Pro (4 Thunderbolt)
- Early 2020 MacBook Air
- Mid 2020 27" iMac
- Late 2019 Mac Pro

Once the new version is released, security updates will be provided until LATE 2028. This is when Tahoe support will be cut off.
