Echo360
Echo360 is a learning transformation platform and system that allows faculty at Nazareth University to record and livestream video lectures for students to view online at any time. Using Echo360, you can access previous and live class sessions, should your instructor choose to use the service. If your instructor has enabled live-streaming of class sessions through Echo360, these instructions outline the basic access process for students.
Note: Google Chrome is the recommended web browser for accessing Echo360, as its functionality can be impacted by the use of other web browsers.
Faculty must establish a connection between Moodle and Echo360 at the start of every semester. They can do so by Requesting an Echo360 Capture, which they can do here.
Once your capture request has been approved, you will be able to connect Echo360 to Moodle, which is a two-part process that involves adding the link to your Moodle course and setting up your Echo360 course section.
PART ONE: ADDING A LINK
Navigate to your Course in Moodle, and enable Edit Mode (see Figure 1).
Click + Add an Activity or Resource within the section you wish to add your Echo360 link (see Figure 2).
In the pop-up menu, select External Tool (see Figure 3).
Add an activity name, and select Echo360 in the Preconfigured Tool field (see Figure 4). Once complete, click Save & Return to Course.
Scroll below to Part Two.

PART TWO: ECHO360 COURSE
Now that your Echo360 link is established, you need to create a corresponding section in the Echo360 platform.
From your Course Page in Moodle, click the link you've just created.
Upon opening Echo360, your course should be automatically listed. Fill in the Term section, and search for your course (see Figure 5).
Note: If your course it not listed, search for it. If still not available, review how you set up your External Tool in the previous guide. You should not add a new course!
Create a Section Number for your course, and click Connect (see Figure 6).
Note: If you accidently link the wrong course, go into that course in Echo360 and select Unlink LMS Course.
