Switching Roles in Moodle to See Student View
It is sometimes helpful to view your course as a student in order to verify that what you have created is being viewed by your students as you intended. Changing the course settings can accomplish this:
From Teacher view to Student view:

Step 1: Navigate to the Profile Menu and click the menu arrow (upper-right side of header).
Step 2: Select Switch role to…from the drop-down menu.
Step 3: Click Student from the list of options.
Note: The user profile menu in the upper right corner of the page will display if you are using an alternate view.
To Return to Teacher View:

Step 2: Select Return to my normal role from the drop-down menu.
