Adding Audio & Video Feedback to an Assignment
Moodle offers the functionality to post a video or audio feedback within the assignment grader. Media posts in Moodle are limited to no longer than two minutes of recording time.
Step 1: While using the Assignment grader, click the Microphone icon within the Feedback comments text editor. Alternatively, clicking the camera icon will create video posts using the same process.
Step 2: In window that appears, click Start Recording.
Step 3: A pop-up may appear requesting access to your computer camera and microphone, click Allow. Note: the pop-up appearance will vary depending on your system and web browser.
Step 4: The system will begin recording, click Stop Recording when finished.
Step 5: A preview of the video will appear, click Attach Recording to add it to the post.
Note: Be patient, there may be up to a 10 second delay while the video is being added to the Message field!
Step 6: The recording will appear as a preview within the Feedback comments area. Press the play button to review and add additional text as desired.
Step 7: Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Save changes when finished.
