Sharing a Video with an Individual

Each Echo360 video is tied to a single owner. In order to provide access to other, an owner can share a video with other users in the system.

TIP: Echo360 functionality can be impacted by the use of certain web browsers. Google Chrome is the recommended web browser for accessing Moodle and Echo360!

Step 1: While viewing any Echo360 course page, click the Library link .

Step 2: Verify you are looking at your video content under the Library tab.

Step 3: Hover your mouse over the video, click the Menu (…) icon and then select Share from the drop-down menu.

Step 4: To identify the user, enter a portion of the users name or email address in the Share with field.

Step 5: The list will auto-populate with matching user information, click the name to select the user.

Note: If the user cannot be found, the user will need to create an Echo360 account before the video can be shared with them.

Step 6: The user will appear under the Individuals list when they have access to the video

Note: Clicking the X will remove the user’s access to the video.

Step 7: Click Done when finished.
