Adding Course Images
Images can be added to a course tile/card that represents a course on a user's dashboard. Images can also be added to a course page.
Option 1: Course Tile/Card Image
A course tile/card image can be added to help users identify your course on their dashboard. If no image is added Moodle will automatically select a random pattern as the course image.
Steps for Option 1:
From the course page header click, Settings.
Scroll down to the Description section to find the course image.
Click on the box with the arrow to browse your device for the desired course image.
Click save changes
Note:
The exact size of the image card/tile is 301x158.
Option 2: Course Page Images
Course page images can be added to the top of a course to provide a visual introduction to the course
Steps for Option 2:
Step 1: From the course page, switch to edit mode.
Step 2: Click the gear icon above course announcements.
Step 3: In the text editor, click the add an image icon. Browse repositories and upload.
Step 4: Click Save changes.
