Seaskills VTS Academy is approved by the Directorate General of Lighthouses and Lightships (DGLL), Ministry of Shipping and accredited by IALA to conduct IALA V-103/1 and IALA V-103/2 courses for VTS Operators, Supervisors and Managers

Training by means of a hybrid system of classroom teaching, hands on equipment handling and simulator training. Simulations on modern VTS simulators depicting various ports with hundreds of maritime scenarios, different vessel types, VTS stations, live professional communications, complex contingency situations, active log keeping, presentations and group interactions.
The course modules comply with IALA Guidelines and reccomendations.
IALA C-0103/1 VTS OPERATORS COURSE
A 12 day course for certified navigating officers and 18 days course for uncertified mariners or ex-Naval petty officers from the executive or radio branch with adequate sea experience. Course consists of extensive classroom training, practicals and simulator training.
IALA C-0103/2 VTS SUPERVISORS COURSE
A 12 day course for those holding IALA V-103/1 course certificate and experience as a VTS Operator at a VTS Station or a certified navigating officer holding IALA V-103/1 course certificate. Course consists of extensive classroom training, practicals and simulator training.
