Design, build, and test a replicable model of an aneurysm in the thoracic aorta for deployment of aortic endovascular interventional devices under simulated use conditions, using non-biologic materials.
Our Electrical Engineering team will focus on deploying flow rate and pressure sensors at strategic locations within our mock vascular system to provide precise values for determining the successful implantation of W.L. Gores intervention device onto an intuitive graphical user interface. We will be working along with a team of Mechanical Engineers who will design and build the aorta model.
