Bio-Mechatronics Lab
(2020 - 2022)
(2020 - 2022)
The NAU Bio-Mech lab is one of the leading labs in untethered assistive exo-skeletons in the country. The labs goal is to create exo-skeletons that assist patients who suffer from cerebral paisley and stoke recover and even rehabilitate with lasting effects. This technology is currently in the process of getting FDA approved and will be ready to be on the market soon.
My Role in the Lab is mainly to assist Lab Researchers with designing and fabricating Exo parts.
The first year i was there, I was in charge of redesigning the carbon fiber manufacturing process so the lab can make carbon fiber parts in house with acceptable quality.
