Gamma Kappa and Alpha Chi have partnered up for an "Adopt-an-Avenue" program on Leroux Street in Flagstaff, Arizona. This initiative allows both chapters to contribute to the Flagstaff community by conducting regular clean-ups to keep the area's natural beauty intact and reduce the carbon footprint. Adopt-an-Avenue is an essential aspect of Gamma Kappa and Alpha Chi's dedication to serving the broader Flagstaff community beyond Northern Arizona University.
During the week of band camp, Gamma Kappa and Alpha Chi select a band camp chair and committee to assist the director of the Lumberjack Marching Band. The chair and committee are responsible for coordinating the distribution of instruments and uniforms and organizing events like spirit days. In the past, both organizations have hosted spirit days to add fun to band camp. A BBQ is held after camp, where everyone is welcome to enjoy some food and entertainment alongside the marching band members.

Each semester, Gamma Kappa and Alpha Chi collaborate to clean the practice rooms at Kitt School of Music. We sanitize, organize, and remove trash to ensure a pleasant practice experience for Lumberjack musicians.
