Within my sorority as Special Events chair, I was in charge of creating merchandise getting the opportunity to make connections with the apparel company, the Collegiate Lineup. Through this company, I created a design, fit for younger students and their parents, had it approved and printed to be distributed to over 100 received orders. This shirt was worn around NAU campus and throughout Arizona, promoting Alpha Delta Pi.
As Special Events Chair, I also organized and hosted several engaging events for both parents and students, including bingo night, a scavenger hunt through Flagstaff, and painting nights, all featuring awards and food. These events provided opportunities for creativity, such as bouquet and charm-making activities, along with a complimentary breakfast before a local NAU football game. I also fostered a strong connection within the Flagstaff community by partnering with local vendors for products and event spaces. These events created lasting memories for both parents and their children, strengthening bonds and offering valuable time together.
In my new position as Vice President of Recruitment, I had the opportunity to recruit new members into Alpha Delta Pi. Each semester, sororities are allowed to add new members, and with the help of my recruitment team, we successfully recruited the maximum number of members within one week. I also played a key role in planning and hosting a paint session to welcome the new members into our sorority, providing a fun and creative way for them to bond and meet others. This event helped foster quick connections and made the recruitment process seamless, allowing us to successfully add new members and create lasting memories in a short time.
