Mr. Everhart and his students will use language that is appropriate for a professional and academic setting. This includes all written and spoken communication (e.g. email messages, Zoom conferences).

Email is best after the school day and during weekends.

If joining the class with a transfer grade: The work from your previous class or previous school will count for this class based on the number of weeks since the semester began. I will let you know how much work to do that will represent the rest of the semester.

If joining the class without a transfer grade: You will need to do the entire semester's amount with the amount of time left in the semester.

This class is part of the Virtual instruction Program and is asynchronous. Work flow and due dates are flexible with the exception of a general start and end of the semester.

Completing work early is encouraged. Completing work late does not cost you any points in the grade book. Work not completed by the end of the semester will be scored a zero.

There are assignments that must be completed before you move on to the next unit or sub-unit.

Quizzes may be retaken if you got an F the first time through. If you fail a quiz a second time you will have to have a short study meeting with your teacher before trying a third time.

On projects and writing tasks, you may improve your work based on teacher comments for a better score. If your work has not reached D level, you will be required to make improvements before moving on to the next assignment.

Extra Credit is not a part of this class. If you are predicting that your grade may not be what you think you deserve, work with me to improve past assignments for additional points.
