Birthday/Party Policy
Star Academy Policy:
As a school-wide policy, we do not accept sweets and treats for birthdays. Please do not send goodie bags, cupcakes, or any other treats to school with your child.

If you would like to do something special on that day for your child, we invite you to do one of these things:
Donate a book to the class
Bring a box of pencils or erasers to hand out to students
How we celebrate birthdays:
Each month there will a lunchtime movie day where the students who have birthdays in that month will be able to munch on lunch, popcorn and watch a movie with the teacher in order to celebrate their special month of being one whole year older!
In an attempt to prevent students from feeling hurt or left out, 2nd grade will not be passing out paper invitations to individual students at school. Thank you!
