Hello! My name is Susie Flores and this is my 12th year teaching at Star Academy! I taught 3rd grade for 4 years, 2nd grade for 6 years, and this is my second year in 4th grade! I love building relationships with students and families. I am very excited to start this school year!
A little about me:
I am originally from Vacaville, CA. I moved to Sacramento to attend Sacramento State (Go Hornets!) and received a BA in Child Development and a minor in Dance. I graduated from UC Davis (GO AGGIES!) where I received my credential and my Masters in Education.
Prior to working at Star Academy, I was a preschool teacher at the Sacramento State Children's Center working with toddlers. In my free time I enjoy spending time with friends and family, reading, walking, camping, and playing board games!

chocolate covered things (fruit, pretzels, gummy bears, nuts)
friends (real people and the TV Show)
My cute little family!
This is my dog Frankee. She is a mix of Border Collie and Australian Cattle Dog. She knows about 40 tricks! She is the absolute best dog
