About Mrs. Flores

Hello! My name is Susie Flores and this is my 10th year teaching at Star Academy! I taught 3rd grade for 4 years and this is my 6th year in 2nd grade! I love working with the younger students. I love building relationships with students and families. I am very excited to start this school year!

A little about me:

I am originally from Vacaville, CA. I moved to Sacramento to attend Sacramento State (Go Hornets!) and received a BA in Child Development and a minor in Dance. I graduated from UC Davis (GO AGGIES!) where I received my credential and my Masters in Education.

Prior to working at Star Academy, I was a preschool teacher at the Sacramento State Children's Center working with toddlers. In my free time I enjoy spending time with friends and family, riding rollercoasters, camping, and playing board games!

This is my sweet cat Foxie! She's an old talkative lady.

This is my dog Frankee. She is a mix of Border Collie and Australian Cattle Dog. She will be 5 years old in August. She is the absolute best dog.
