Superhero Sprint (Jog-A-Thon)

WHAT IS A SUPERHERO SPRINT (JOG-A-THON)?

A Superhero Sprint Jog-a-Thon is a fun and engaging fundraiser that encourages students to be active and try their best while raising money for our school community! Students will walk, jog, or run around the Star Academy field as many times as they can in a 25 minute period. Students fundraise by soliciting donations from family, friends, parents' coworkers, and other community members. Donations should be a set amount (for example, $5 or $100 - no amount is too small or large!) that will be given in cash, check (made out to NAEF), or online. Students will collect the cash and checks in an envelope that will be sent home with each child on March 1st.

The suggested donation is $30 per student, to help reach our school-wide goal. However, any amount you donate is helpful and greatly appreciated.

FUNDRAISING GOALS

The Jog-a-Thon will raise money for a variety of items that will benefit all students throughout Star Academy, including: school-wide assemblies, PE and recess equipment, clear the Library Wish List and more! 


CHEER ON STUDENTS

Family members are welcome to come and cheer on their students. All visitors must sign in at the office. 

8:40 AM - Spectator arrival - must check in at office

8:50 AM - TK/K

9:30 AM - 1st, 2nd, 3rd

10:10 AM - 4th & 5th

TIMELINE FOR PARENTS


SUPER CAPES

All students will receive a Super Cape for FREE! The super cape has numbers on students will receive a tally mark every time they run a lap.

Parents can donate items that will be used on the day of the Jog-a-Thon to help ensure a successful event! Please check out our Amazon wish list to purchase specific items to donate.
