About Us

Savannah Fisch, M.S., CCC-SLP

Savannah graduated with her Bachelor's in Communicative Sciences and Disorders from California State University, Fullerton and her Masters of Science in Communicative Sciences and Disorders from Sacramento State. While in graduate school, she gained clinical experience working in public and non-public school settings, private clinics, and a hospital working with patients at the inpatient and outpatient level. Since her graduation from Sacramento State, she has worked in a private practice setting, in-home early intervention, and is now back in the school setting. One of her favorite things about being an SLP is providing parent education to families. She enjoys utilizing family and student led play based strategies and approaches to allow for carryover outside of the speech room. She has previously worked with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, language disorders, fluency disorder, Deaf and Hard of Hearing students, and speech sound disorders. When she's not working, she enjoys singing, playing with her labradoodle, creating art, traveling, and spending time with her family. You can find Savannah working at STAR and PACT Academy.

Jose Cazares, SLP-A

Jose graduated from California State University, Sacramento with a Bachelors of Science in Speech Pathology, as well as a Bachelors of Arts in Deaf Studies. Jose has gained experience working with students of all ages while working as a paraeducator at Natomas Charter School, and NUSD. He chose to follow this career path because of his sister with Cerebral Palsy who benefited immensely from Speech services. Jose hopes to one day repay the favor and help make a difference in someone's life, such as the SLP did for his sister. He is driven and excited to start the school year and work with the students.

On his time off Jose likes to powerlift, try new cuisines and travel anywhere with delicious food.
