About me

I was born and raised in Sacramento,  California. I attended Sacramento State and got my BA in English Pre-Credential in 2019. I then went to get my MA in Elementary Education and Credential from University of Southern California in 2022. This will be my third year as a teacher, but I have seven years of experience working with children ranging in ages from 2.5 years old to 11 years old as a dance instructor, and I have worked at Star Academy as a Distance Learning Facilitator for Kindergarten prior to finishing school. Through my time working with kids I have found that there is no age group that holders a greater joy than kindergarten and I am so excited to begin this adventure at Star Academy!   

In my free time I love spending time with my three cats Luna, Boo, and Pumpkin! Luna is a six year old tabby with no tail, Boo is a five year old black cat with an extra long tail, and Pumpkin is a 1 year old orange cat with one small eye. I also love going to Disneyland! My husband and I take at least 2 trips a year.

• Animals: Cats

• Anything Disney themed 

• Sweets: Dark chocolate

• Stores: Target, Amazon, Trader Joes

• Hobbies: Watching movies and reading
