About me

I was born and raised in Sacramento,  California. I attended Sacramento State and got my BA in English Pre-Credential in 2019. I then went to get my MA in Elementary Education and Credential from University of Southern California in 2022. This will be my fourth year as a teacher, but I have nine years of experience working with children ranging in ages from 2.5 years old to 11 years old as a dance instructor, and I have worked at Star Academy as a Distance Learning Facilitator for Kindergarten prior to finishing school. Through my time working with kids I have found that there is no age group that holders a greater joy than kindergarten, and I am so excited to begin this adventure at Star Academy!   

In my free time I love spending time with my daughter and going on as many adventures as possible with her! I also love spending time with my four cats Luna, Boo, Pumpkin, and Cider! Luna is a seven year old tabby with no tail, Boo is a six year old black cat, Pumpkin is a 1 year old orange cat with one small eye, and Cider is my only boy cat. I also love going to Disneyland! My husband and I take at least one trip a year; our daughters first trip will be this year!

• Anything Disney themed 

• Sweets: Dark chocolate

• Stores: Target, Amazon, Trader Joes

• Hobbies: Watching movies and reading
