Please note the following requirements for classroom volunteers:
Volunteers must be fingerprinted through NCS.
Please let me know if you cannot make your volunteer time.
Volunteers are expected to maintain confidentiality about student behavior in the classroom.
Volunteers should not become distracting. Please obtain childcare for younger siblings and do your best to allow your kindergartener to work independently in the classroom. If your presence becomes too distracting to your student or other students, you may be asked to complete prep work in an alternate location.
Chaperones will be randomly selected for each field trip. You MUST be fingerprinted through Natomas Charter School in order to attend a field trip (see Cindy or Maribel at the front desk for more information). Please note that field trip chaperones are expected to participate and avoid distractions during field trips (e.g., follow teacher instructions, actively watch students, avoid cell phone use, etc.). Chaperones who do not meet these criteria will not be asked to join us on future field trips.
