About Me

I grew up in San Jose and moved to Sacramento in high school. I received my bachelor’s at Tennessee State University, where I also played on the basketball team. My first job out of college was at a preschool where I discovered that I wanted to work with children. 

I like to spend my free time doing yoga, going to the farmers market, thrifting, hanging out with my dog, and watching sports with my family. I also love going to the beach and relaxing by the water.

This will be my fifth year at Star and third year teaching kindergarten. It has been so fun to watch students learn and grow throughout these years! We are going to have a great year!
