The First Day of School will be on Wednesday August 13th at 9:30am. Parents may walk students through the front gate, down the path of yellow stars, and all the way to our classroom door.
If your child is having trouble sleeping the Night Before the First Day, remember to use the special sleepy dust that your child receives at Meet the Teacher and watch this Bedtime Story with Mrs. Love.
Choose a leak-proof water bottle that your child can open and close themselves. Label with your child's name.
Pack your child's snack sepeartely from their lunch and show them what it looks like! Otherwise your student may accidentally eat their entire lunch box at snack time and not have anything left for lunch.
Choose a lunch box that your child can open and close all by themselves!
Note: Bento boxes are very difficult for 4 year old students to use independently, especially at the beginning of the school year.
Note: School lunch is available to all Star Academy students for free. Lunch Menu Here
Gallon ziplock bags and a checklist will be passed out at Meet the Teacher on August 12th. Please LABEL your bag and bring to the First Day of School.
The following items cause distractions and disruptions in the classroom:
Do not send pens, crayons, journals and other school supplies from home. We already have everything we need in the classroom.
Do not send candy to school with your child.
Do not allow your child to bring toys, trinkets, or stickers to school, even when your child tries to convince you that Mrs. Love said it's okay!
