Classroom Expectations

You are to come to class everyday and try your very best.

You are expected to bring back letters, forms, permission slips or any other documents that I give out in a timely manner filled out correctly. (2-3 days)

You are expected to hand in all assignments and projects on time. (Points will be deducted each day your assignment/project is late.)

You are expected to treat Mr. Hyman, all teachers and staff, your classmates, your fellow students of Nativity and myself with respect and courtesy at ALL times.

There will be consequences for those who do not. (Consequences will be discussed with parents/guardians and with my students.)

You are expected to follow Nativity School's Dress Code Policy. (As per the parent/student handbook. If you should have any questions about appropriate uniforms, please ask me and we'll go over the correct dress code.)

You are expected to wear your gym uniform on the day that you have Physical Education.

Dress Down days will be announced in advance.

You are expected to keep our classroom, your desks, crates, our lunchroom and our school clean.

You are expected to have all homework, full exams and projects signed by your parent/guardian unless otherwise discussed. (Quizzes do not have to be signed)

You are expected to work hard each and everyday and you are expected to have fun, laugh and grow as a person. (Physically, emotionally, spiritually and intellectually.)

You are expected to challenge yourself and NO ONE in my class is ever allowed to say, "I can't do it, it's too hard!"

All of my students are expected to say that The New York Yankees are their favorite team. (Even if they're not!)

One last thing, you are expected to believe in yourself and your abilities!!!

This last expectation is not negotiable.
