Hi Friends, my name is Mrs. Behan (rhymes with rain). I wanted to share some fun information about myself. I have been a parishioner at Nativity since 2005. I became involved with the school when my daughter first started preschool many years ago. Since then, I have worked in the art room, was a class volunteer, substitute teacher, PTO board and a room parent. I began teaching the preschool class in 2013 and as you know this is my first year as program director, in addition my 2nd year as Extended Care director. My undergrad degree is in Health Sciences with a minor in Athletic Training and last December I earned my master's degree in Early Childhood Education.
I have one daughter, a 10th grader at West Springfield High School. She has been dancing since she was 4, so yes, I am a dance mom as well, just not the kind you see on tv! In my spare time, I enjoy reading a good book, the Hallmark channel, hitting the gym and of course, family movie/game nights. I love to craft, collect all things "pig" related and trying new recipes.
We are looking forward to a great and memorable school year!
Hi everyone. My name is Rahel Berhane. Nativity has been a blessing to me since I lost my husband a couple years ago. I am a mom to 4 kids, one at Nativity and three at West Springfield High School. They keep me on my toes. I have been with Nativity for 2 years now and I love working with the Preschool children. In my spare time, I love to hike, bike and most importantly, spend time with children. Fun Fact: I used to surf and I love dolphins!
