School Picture Day Info (Grades 9-12)

2025-2026 Dates:

September 9th - 9th and 12th Grade

September 10th - 10th and 11th Grade

September 11th - Anyone who missed their original or needs to make up their photo  

Pictures will take place in the school main lobby from 7:30am - 2:00pm

NOTE: The photographers use a light blue backdrop, in case you need to plan an outfit.

Picture Day Order Forms can be found HERE or it can be downloaded from Paradise Photo's website. (Pricing on the form)

NOTE: You only need to fill out and pass in this form on the day of your picture if you plan on ordering personal copies of the photo.  If you are only going to get a photo for the purpose of Yearbook, PowerSchool, or school ID photos, and DO NOT plan on purchasing additional photos then you do not need to download the form - You can just come to photo day and get your photo taken!

Students may have their photos taken during their CDS, study hall or Priv block only. If a student has 4 academic classes on their designated day, and no study or Priv, they can come at 7:30am or after 12:20pm. If they miss photo day completely, they are welcome to come during the make up time later in the Fall. 

Distribution of photo packages will take place after the photo make-up day.  Paradise Photo will have a table in the cafeteria where students will be able to pick up their packages.  After distribution day, photos can be found in the main office for pick-up.

Helpful tips based on past questions:

1. Students are responsible for going down to the lobby on their own to get their photo taken during their appointed day.  Students will not be escorted down!

2. Students should go during a time when they are free to do so - CDS, Study Hall, Lunch, Priv (11th and 12th grade), etc.  Students in a class should still inform a teacher they need to get a photo when appropriate.

3. If you JUST want a photo for student ID and the yearbook, it is completely free to go down and get it.  You only need to pay when you want to order a photo package.

4. Each grade has an appointed day to get their photo taken, but if you are absent on your day, you can utilize the make-up day on Thursday or the reshoot day that takes place after all the photos have been printed and distributed.  In an emergency, you can go down on a day where your grade is not appointed.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Underclassmen students who may have already gotten a photo taken through another studio should still go to the photo session to get a photo taken!  You will not need to fill out the paperwork and the photo will be free.  The reason for this is due to the way that photos are placed in the yearbook.  We do not place them by hand, the photos on photo day have data of the student's name and grade attached to them and are automatically placed in order in the yearbook.

Additional Photo Day Details for SENIORS!

Seniors may use their photos on this day as their yearbook photo, if you have not submitted one yet.  If you have already submitted your yearbook photo, we are still looking for the traditional Silly Senior Photos for a page in the yearbook!  So if you have the opportunity to go down and get your photo taken, let's keep the tradition alive and have some fun!

Senior Photos are due Friday, December 5th

Submit your photo to the yearbook staff via email: NHSyearbook@natickps.org

It's very important that you meet the deadlines so your photo is guaranteed to be in the yearbook. 

It is also important that your photo meets the attached requirements or it will not be accepted for the yearbook. Please read over the requirements carefully and plan accordingly. The school's preferred photographer is Paradise Photo and Video in Natick.

Any photos taken with them with be sent to the school by them. If you choose a different photographer, you are responsible for making sure they have sent the photo to the yearbook staff.
