Purpose

This website serves as a resource for Natick High School students' formal writing format and style. At NHS we use Modern Language Association (MLA) 8th Edition (2016) as our style guide.

MLA, or Modern Language Association was founded in 1885 and since that time, has promoted "the study and teaching of languages and literatures through its programs, publications, annual convention, and advocacy work" (Modern Language Association).
