After School/Office Hours Help

Students are welcomed to and encouraged to stay after school for extra academic support, general homework assistance or additional assessment preparation and skills review/practice.  After school availability runs from 2:05 - 3:00 pm.  My weekly after-school availability will always be updated and posted in the Team Opportunity Homework Google Doc.

Note:

The Opportunity Homework Google Doc is best viewed in OUTLINE MODE. Each new page contains the week's homework. The top page will contain the current week's homework.

As a reminder, all students should be recording homework in their agenda books or in Google Keep at school. This page is simply a "back-up" to the written agenda book that all students should be using on a daily basis.

Math Homework Guidelines:

• Always show your work!

• Assigned and checked regularly.

• Spend approximately 40-60 minutes on homework with no distractions.

• Due the next day unless otherwise noted. If you have an emergency and are unable to complete your homework, please bring a note from your parent/guardian.

• Parents may provide assistance on homework but may not complete problems for you.

Directions:

• Use the calendar below to find your homework assignment for the evening.  In general, all classes will have the same homework assignments for each night.  However, there will be nights when classes have different homework assignments.  In these cases, the homework will be clearly marked for each class.

• For your reference, JR = just right and CH = challenge.  Students will oftentimes be able to choose between JR or CH questions.  Students should solve problems that are within their ability level.
