What is a transition fair?
Transition fairs connect students and their families to resources that help them build successful lives after high school. The purpose of a transition fair is to deliver content and resources that are most likely to benefit the students. Attendees will learn about supports and services available in the local community including, employment support agencies, benefit specialists, advocacy organizations, community resources, and social/recreational opportunities.
Who should attend?
The event is free and open to all families, students, and educators who wish to learn more about the resources available for individuals with special needs who are transitioning to adulthood. Most resources will be aimed towards assisting individuals who are 14-22. Resources will be available for a wide-variety of disabilities, including:

Will the event be accessible?
Yes! Handicap accessible parking is available both in the main parking lot, as well as near the back entrance to the school. Elevators are available for those who need accommodations to reach breakout sessions held on the 2nd floor. ASL interpreters and large print materials are also available upon request through our registration form.
