About me

Hi, I am Indira Bhupatiraju, teaching 7th-grade math this year on Team Awesome. This is my fifth year teaching at Kennedy and my seventh year teaching Middle School math. I am looking forward to getting to know your children and having a great school year with them!

I did my Bachelor of Science in India, and I earned my Master of Education from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. I have taught 8th grade, 7th grade, and 6th-grade math at Lowell, Melrose, Advanced Math and Science Academy Charter School in Marlborough, and Sudbury before coming to Natick. 

I am passionate about teaching math concepts, and I truly believe that every child can excel in math given the right support and guidance from the teacher. I will do my best to encourage, guide, and support every student in my class so they become successful in their math learning.

Apart from teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I love to visit places and enjoy going for long walks. I have two amazing sons. My older son, Surya, graduated from college, and he is working at Google. My younger son, Vivek, also graduated from college this year in June and is looking to pursue further studies.
