The Green Pulse project is a student-led initiative dedicated to exploring the powerful and often overlooked intersection between environmental sustainability and human health. Our mission is to educate, engage, and empower students to understand how environmental issues, such as air and water pollution, climate change, and ecosystem disruption, directly affect public health outcomes, including respiratory disease, waterborne illness, and the spread of infectious diseases.
At the heart of the Green Pulse Project is our commitment to making this intersection clear and compelling for students. Through a series of interactive presentations, we break down the science behind environmental health using guided notes, real-world examples, and engaging activities. These educational sessions help students connect how the health of the planet and the health of people are deeply intertwined.
We believe that fostering awareness at this intersection is critical to shaping the next generation of leaders who will prioritize both environmental and public health in their communities. By educating students on how ecological damage impacts human well-being, and how human actions influence the environment, we aim to inspire thoughtful, informed action that promotes a healthier, more sustainable future for all.
The Green Pulse Project isn’t just about saving the planet, it’s about understanding that protecting the environment is essential to protecting ourselves.
