NASKA Robotics GmbH is a tech startup company based in Schönefeld (Brandenburg), Germany. We are located 5 mins from the international Airport and 20 mins from the city center of Berlin. Our mission is the development of autonomous manufacturing of carbon storage walls. We are a software company dedicated to the developing of advanced machine algorithms. We want you to bring in advanced skills in software engineering and take part in our mission to finalize the firdt climate positve mass product.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

We are seeking a Robotics Software Engineer / Data Scientist to develop algorithms, artificial intelligence and machine learning capabilities for innovative manufacturing processes and automation tools.

Additional responsibilities:

• Define software systems architecture for robotics/automation hardware solutions

• You will design, implement, test and deploy Robot System Software and other software elements

• Develop innovative algorithms, deep learning tools, and reinforcement learning, to be embedded in hardware solutions and cloud applications

• Develop software codebase, program firmware of various levels for the hardware solutions

• Define database structures, identify data types for collection, and set up data analysis software

REQUIRED:

• M. Sc. or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Mathematics or a related field

• Ideally worked at 1+ robotics company in the past

• Practical software engineering experience of 3+ years with Python or C++ in the are of robotics/AI

• Experience working with ROS in a Linux environment to design, build and operate robotic systems on real robots. ROS2 experience is a bonus.

• Ability to break down complex problems into a series of smaller iterations with finite time constraints

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment, team driven environment

• Motivated to find the right solutions and get things done

• Structured and independent working style

• Enthusiasm for robots and AI

• Fluent in English and good knowledge of German of advantage

• Solid understanding of 3D Vision

• Knowledge of image processing and computer vision

• Experience in deep learning (especially computer vision) and/or reinforcement learning methods
