Appreciation from the Nashua Lions Club

On Monday, May 17th, the Nashua Lions Club presented this Certificate of Appreciation to the Nashua Teachers' Union. NTU Vice President Deb Howes was present to accept it on behalf of the Union. I would like to thank the Lions Club for their recognition of all the incredible work you all have done, especially during this pandemic. You are all truly amazing and dedicated individuals.

2021 Nashua Lions Club Teacher of the Year

Congratulations to Gary Stoncius, English teacher at Fairgrounds Middle School, on this honor. Being a biased former student, and reading all the wonderful things on Facebook, this honor is well-deserved! Congratulations Mr. Stoncius!

Know Your Contract

Work Day

Each unit has a specific work day, usually set by your school principal. The work day may vary by your position, number of hours you were hired to work, and which school you work. You are expected to be working during those work hours - in-person or remote - unless you are on EFMLEA/FMLA leave, using some sort of time off, or it's not a work day for you. Please be mindful of what you're posing on social media or where you're going during school hours. You are entitled to use your personal/sick time, etc. as outlined in your respective contract. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Union Office.

Yes to the Cog Railway!

You are all a lot braver than I am. There is no way in H-E-Double Hockey Sticks that I would ever get on the Mt. Washington Cog Railway. No, thank you! However, more than 80% of you said you would...choo-choo!

Pick Your Lockdown House

Where would you want to be in you had to go back into lockdown? Thanks to Rob Lalime for the idea!
