All athletes will be required to obtain two recommendations.
ATHLETES WHO PLAYED A NASD SPORT DURING THE 25-26 SEASON
- 1 Coach Recommendation
- 1 Teacher Recommendation
ATHLETES WHO DID NOT PLAY A NASD SPORT DURING THE 25-26 SEASON
- 2 Teacher Recommendations
Athletes, please send your teacher/coach a respectful email asking them to complete the recommendation form for you. The recommendation will factor into the high school athlete's overall tryout score. Recommendation forms must be filled out by April 16, 2026 at 11:59pm.
Below is a sample email format that you may use:
Dear (insert teacher/coach name here),
I am writing to ask if you will complete a recommendation form for me. It is an important part of my tryout for the Northampton Area Cheerleading Program. Please complete the Google Form by April 16, 2026. If you are unable to complete this form for me, please let me know so that I may ask another teacher/coach.
