Physical/Impact Test Information

All athletes must have a physical in order to try out for one of our teams. If you have participated in a NASD sport during the fall or winter season, or plan to participate in a spring sport during the 25-26 school year, your physical will be valid for our tryouts. If you tried out for a NASD sport during the 25-26 fall or winter season and did not make the team, your physical is still valid for our tryouts. Your parents must complete the Physical Recertification form in order for you to tryout. 

If you do not have a physical from another NASD sport, you can sign up to attend the free St.Luke's Physical on February 20, 2025 from 5 - 7pm in the HS gym or make an appointment with your doctor. Please be sure to have the correct forms with you when completing your physical. You should complete the entire physical packet pages 1-6. 

Again, in order to tryout all athletes must turn a physical or a physical recertification into the athletic trainer by April 16, 2026.

*Please keep in mind, our Varsity and JV athletes will leave for camp on June 12, 2026. They will be required to turn in a physical dated after May 1, 2026 by June 10. There will be a free St. Lukes physical held at the high school at the beginning of June.*

All athletes in the Northampton Area School District must have a valid ImPact baseline test in our system prior to participating in practices and team activities. 

All 7th, 9th & 11th grade students, transfer students and/or new students are required to complete a new ImPact baseline test annually before participating in practices and team activities.
